Flirty texts that actually get replies

Before you send anything, figure out where you actually stand. If she's been texting back quickly and asking you questions, she's already showing interest. A flirty text here works because you're building on momentum. If the conversation has been slow or one-sided, a flirty text might land as trying too hard. Look for specific signals: Does she use punctuation and emojis? Does she write more than one sentence? Does she ask follow-up questions or just answer yours? These tell you if she's engaged enough that a flirty move will feel like natural banter instead of you coming out of nowhere. A flirty text works best when she's already demonstrated she's willing to keep talking.

A flirty text has to do two things at once without looking like it's trying. First, it has to reference something specific from your actual conversation or something you actually know about her. This shows you've been paying attention and aren't sending the same thing to five people. Second, it has to be something she can easily play off or add to. If you make a joke, she should see an opening to make one back. If you playfully call her out on something, she should feel like she can respond in kind. Send a flirty text when the conversation is already warm, not when you're trying to start one. Mid-conversation or in response to something she said works. Early morning or late night messages look like you were thinking about her, which is fine, but she might not reply until later. Wait at least a few hours before sending anything else. If she doesn't reply to a flirty text within a day or so, don't send another one immediately. If she takes days to reply or stops replying altogether, stop initiating.
